Spaces, Places, Faces: The Intersection of Art and Design

On January 28, TAS is once again partnering with East End Arts and the Toronto Arts Foundation to presentSpaces, Places, Faces: The Intersection of Art and Design. This panel discussion will explore the intersection of art and design and how community sustainability comes to life at the crossroads.

Moderated by Alex Bozikovic, architecture and design journalist with the Globe & Mail, a panel of experts will share their perspectives on how art and design intersect within physical spaces, and their visions as to how this intersection can be best awakened within East end communities.

Our very own Mazyar Mortazavi (President & CEO of TAS) will share how we, as the developers of Kingston&Co, have worked to ensure Kingston Road Village’s design and community have been represented in the new building’s design and architecture.

Additional speakers, Zahra Ebrahim (Principal, Founder, ArchiTEXT Inc.), Sean Martindale (Artist & Designer, Public Interventionist), and Jay Pitter (Writer, Narratologist, Marketing Communications Specialist) will share their knowledge on the design industry.

Take part in some #EastEndLove and don’t miss out on an evening that will expand your knowledge of art, design, community, and how they ultimately all come together.
